Electoral Boundaries Review
Charlottetown City Council appointed an Electoral Boundaries Commission on January 12, 2015, as per Section 141 of the Elections Bylaw. The Commission's composition is: Chair Linda Webber, George MacDonald, and Roger Younker. The Commission was mandated with the task of reviewing the existing ward boundaries and setting out recommendations as to the area, boundaries and names of the wards in the City. The criteria used by the Commission to develop the recommended ward boundaries and names is set out in the Elections Bylaw, click here.
Public Hearings to review the recommendations of the Commission were held June 23 and June 25, 2015.
