The City of Charlottetown is now accepting nominations for the Veterans Recognition Awards. The recipients will be announced in November during the annual Veterans Recognition Awards Ceremony at the Rodd Charlottetown.
Those eligible for nomination include men and women living within City limits who served in the Armed Forces of Canada during the Second World War, the Korean War, a Special Duty Area (Peacekeeping), War in Afghanistan or service as a Reservist. Everyone selected for an award will be notified by mail and presented the award at the private awards ceremony.
Only Charlottetown residents are eligible to be nominated. Nominations are due by Friday, October 16. Forms can be picked up at the reception desk on the second floor of City Hall at 199 Queen Street. The form is also available online at: www.charlottetown.ca in the Quick Links menu.
