The City of Charlottetown will be presenting two Christmas concerts as part of the Wintertide Holiday Festival and the free tickets for the public will be available for pickup on Saturday, November 21.
The two concerts, A John Gracie Christmas and A Christmas to Remember, will take place at Trinity United Church on December 4 and December 5, respectively. A John Gracie Christmas is an annual Christmas concert featuring ECMA artist John Gracie and special guest Samantha Gracie. A Christmas to Remember features heart-warming holiday music and Christmas stories performed by popular Island artists Joey Kitson, Catherine O'Brien, Caroline Bernard, Alan Buchanan, Don Fraser, The Reindeer Express Band and other special guests.
The free tickets for both events will be handed out at the Eastlink Centre (46 Kensington Road) between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, November 21 (while quantities last). There will be a limit of four tickets per person.
The Christmas events noted are two of many events included in the City of Charlottetown's annual Wintertide Holiday Festival. The events are a collection of seasonal celebrations and recreational activities taking place from November 2015 until January 2016. Events are coordinated by the City of Charlottetown, community organizations, groups and residents. The festival also adds spirit and sparkle to Charlottetown's nighttime sky through the thousands of lights presented in seasonally themed displays in the Capital region.
