The deadline to submit an application to the City of Charlottetown’s Office of Sustainability for the 2016 Community Micro Grant Program is Monday, April 25 by 5:00 p.m.
The Community Micro Grant Program offers small grants of $1,000 to $2,500 for projects in Charlottetown that contribute to and enhance community-minded sustainability efforts. The projects must also correspond with the goals and actions of the Integrated Community Sustainability Plan.
Proposals that meet the application criteria will be given five minutes to share their idea with the community at the Inspired City Micro-Grant Pitch Party on Thursday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Murphy’s Community Centre. Event attendees will vote for the projects they feel will make the best contribution to sustainability in Charlottetown. The top voted proposals at the Pitch Party will receive grants of up to a maximum of $2,500 and must complete their project in 2016.
