The National Capital Commission met with Charlottetown Mayor Clifford Lee and PEI Premier Wade MacLauchlan recently to discussion a potential partnership in 2017 for Canada’s 150th. The National Capital Commission is considering an official visit to Charlottetown – the Birthplace of Confederation – during the 2017 celebrations. The item is now on their governance committee agenda for June.
Present for the discussion last week were PEI Premier Wade MacLauchlan, CEO of National Capital Commission Mark Kristmanson, Mayor Clifford Lee, and Basil Stewart, National Capital Commission Board Member.
