Registration for the first Newcomer Orientation Session, being held on Thursday, September 22, is almost full. The sessions are now at full capacity for children/youth at the Late Summer Session. A limited number of spaces remain for adults, and it is expected registration will be closed on Thursday, September 15.
All individuals who did not secure a spot in the Late Summer Orientation Session are encouraged to register for the Fall Leaves Orientation which will be held on Thursday, October 20. Registration for the Fall session will open around the beginning of October.
The Newcomer Orientation Sessions are scheduled as follows:
- Thursday, September 22, 5 – 7:15 p.m. – Late Summer Newcomer Orientation featuring the Human Resources and Parks and Recreation Departments, followed by a bus tour of City parks, which concludes at City Hall.
- Thursday, October 20, 5 – 7:15 p.m. – Fall Leaves Orientation will feature information from the Planning Department and a tour of Victoria Park, which will include nature related activities.
- Thursday, December 1, 5 – 7:15 p.m. – Christmas Cheer Orientation will feature information on bus transit, water use and sustainability practices. It will be followed by a tour of Christmas lights in the Charlottetown area.
