The deadline to submit an application to the City of Charlottetown's Micro-Grant Program is 4 p.m. on Friday, April 7.
The Community Micro-Grant program offers small scale grants to community groups and individuals that are planning an event or project which works towards the goals and actions of the City’s Integrated Community Sustainability Plan (ICSP). Eligible projects can be from a broad range of focus areas, must engage the community in sustainability and relate to one or more of the four pillars of sustainability; environmental, economic, cultural and social.
Eligible applications will be reviewed by a selection committee whose members have an in-depth understanding of community issues and represent a range of perspectives. The applications that are selected by the committee will receive grants of up to a maximum of $2,500 and must complete their project in 2017.
Participants are encouraged to submit their application online.
