Mayor Clifford Lee is opening the doors at City Hall to host a welcome reception for all newcomers who have chosen to make Charlottetown their home.
The City of Charlottetown is pleased to host this event for the second year in a row to extend a special welcome to newcomers who live and work in Charlottetown. The Mayor’s Newcomer Reception will provide an opportunity to visit City Hall and meet the Mayor and Council members in a comfortable, informal setting. The reception will be held on Wednesday, September 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at City Hall, 199 Queen Street.
"We had such a positive response from the Newcomers Welcome Reception held last year" said Mayor Clifford Lee. "This reception provides a platform for newcomers to engage with City Hall, ask questions and gather information about programs and initiatives. We invite those who have lived in Charlottetown for a month or several years to join us."
During the reception, attendees will have the opportunity to tour City Hall. Information will also be provided on the Orientation Sessions that are scheduled to begin in the coming months.
The Mayor’s Newcomer Reception is open to all newcomers who live or work within Charlottetown. For more information, contact: 902-566-5548.
