The City of Charlottetown is now accepting nominations for the Veterans Recognition Awards. The recipients will be recognized in November during the annual awards ceremony at the Rodd Charlottetown.
Those eligible for nomination include men and women who served in the Armed Forces of Canada during the Second World War, the Korean War, a Special Duty Area (Peacekeeping), War in Afghanistan or in Canada in the Regular Force or Reserves. Individuals selected for an award will be notified by mail and presented the award at the private awards ceremony.
Only Charlottetown residents are eligible to be nominated. Nominations are due by Friday, October 20. The form is available online at: www.charlottetown.ca in the Quick Links menu. Please contact the Mayor’s office at 902-566-5548, if you wish to have a nomination form mailed to you.
