The City of Charlottetown is once again hosting Newcomer Orientations this Fall to welcome and provide information to newcomers about the city and the departments within City Hall.
The orientations will feature information from five different departments within City Hall including: Human Resources, Police, Fire, Planning, and Parks and Recreation. The orientation session will also include a tour of the Charlottetown Fire Department, Station 1. This is a great opportunity for newcomers to learn more about City Hall and ask any questions they may have.
There will be two opportunities for newcomers to attend these sessions on either Wednesday, October 18 or Wednesday, November 22 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Both sessions will be the exact same, so participants are asked to only register for one.
The Newcomer Orientation Sessions are free and open to newcomers who have recently moved to or work in Charlottetown. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent at all times. Light refreshments will be provided. Pre-registration is required and can be completed online at: www.charlottetown.ca/newcomers.php
