The City of Charlottetown wishes to remind the public that the final Newcomer Orientation Session is quickly approaching, taking place next week on Wednesday, November 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. at City Hall.
The orientation will feature information from five different departments within City Hall including: Human Resources, Police, Fire, Planning, and Parks and Recreation. The session will also include a tour of the Charlottetown Fire Department, Station 1. This is a great opportunity for newcomers to learn more about City Hall and ask any questions they may have.
The Newcomer Orientation Sessions are free and open to newcomers who have recently moved to or work in Charlottetown. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent at all times. Light refreshments will be provided. Pre-registration is required and can be completed online at: www.charlottetown.ca/newcomers-new.php
