The public is invited to attend a new Christmas market, one of many events that make up the Wintertide Holiday Festival in Charlottetown.
On Saturday, December 6 between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m., experience a Victorian Christmas Market. The theme of the market is based on traditional outdoor Christmas markets, reminiscent of the European style events.
The public is welcome to browse offerings for the perfect Christmas gift from local artisans while sipping on hot chocolate and strolling the historical Brown Block of Victoria Row. Take advantage of special sales from vendors and find those one-of-a-kind gifts while enjoying the magical charm of historic downtown Charlottetown.
Organizers are looking for both volunteers and vendors. If you are looking for more information, are willing to donate your time as a volunteer or are interested in being a vendor, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Victorian Christmas Market is one of many events included in the City of Charlottetown's annual Wintertide Holiday Festival. The events are a collection of seasonal celebrations and recreational activities taking place from November 2014 until January 2015. Events are coordinated by the City of Charlottetown, community organizations, groups and residents. The festival also adds spirit and sparkle to Charlottetown's nighttime sky through the thousands of lights presented in seasonally themed displays in the Capital region.
