Disney Junior presents Imagination Movers Live in Concert will make an exclusive Atlantic Canadian appearance at the Jack Frost Children’s Winterfest presented by Island Coastal, February 27 – March 1, 2015.

First held in 2005, the Jack Frost Children’s Winterfest is the largest winter festival east of Quebec City, attracting upwards of 10,000 attendees to Charlottetown each year and contributing an annual average of $2.5 million to the Prince Edward Island economy by encouraging young families to visit the Island during the quietest tourism period of the year.

"The Jack Frost Children’s Winterfest is a wonderful event for the shoulder of the winter tourism season that stimulates tremendous economic prosperity while offering a fantastic opportunity for our residents and visitors to participate in Atlantic Canada’s premiere winter festival," said His Worship, Charlottetown Mayor Clifford Lee. "On behalf of City Council, I’d like to applaud the efforts of High Road Events Inc. for their leadership and management of the event. The City of Charlottetown is a proud partner and is pleased to once again be hosting this great event."

"Reach high, think big, work hard, and have fun" at Eastlink Centre with critically acclaimed international recording artists and television stars, Imagination Movers. Join Rich, Scott, Dave, and Smitty at three highly interactive 60-minute musical experiences, recognized by Pollstar Magazine as a Top 100 Tour. Crossing musical genres ranging from hip hop to country and numerous points in between, the Movers ultimate performance goal is to "make many kids’ first concert experience also one of their parents’ most memorable experiences!"

The themes of music and imagination will extend to the Charlottetown Event Grounds where the outdoor Snow Kingdom will be brought to life through the talents of the Canadian Snow Sculpting Team. One of the most-loved highlights of the Jack Frost festival, the Snow Kingdom will feature an exciting array of playground offerings made entirely out of snow! From the Kent Building Supplies outdoor skating rink, to the giant tube run, to horse and sleigh rides presented by the City of Charlottetown, and a plethora of age-appropriate snow and ice slides, the Snow Kingdom will offer hours of family-friendly winter fun. Busker-style performances and a fantastic line-up of musical acts on the outdoor stage will add to the festive atmosphere.

Jack Frost’s Indoor Playland will once again be found at Eastlink Centre, which will be completely transformed into a magical winter wonderland. Plenty of kid-friendly activities including inflatables appealing to children of all-ages, face painters, balloon artists, a petting zoo, and stage performances by a multitude of entertainers will help to warm-up festival goers.

Additional indoor and outdoor programming details will be announced in the New Year.

"The Jack Frost Children’s Winterfest offers the perfect opportunity for families to get outside and celebrate the best of Canadian winter with activities not typically experienced in this region," said Laurel Lea, Project Manager for High Road Events Inc., a not-for-profit organization managed by Confederation Bridge. "We invite Atlantic Canadian families to grab their hats, grab their boots and experience winter magic in Prince Edward Island this February."
