Charlottetown Mayor Clifford Lee and members of City Council are pleased to welcome the National Ringette League to the Capital City.
Ringette PEI is hosting the national league for the first time on Prince Edward Island for a three-game National Ringette League series between Le Royal de Bourassa and Atlantic Attack, the region’s only NRL team.
The games will be played at the CARI Complex and all are welcome to attend. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children. Any ringette player wearing their team jersey will receive free admission.
"Ringette has steadily been growing in popularity over the past few years, so it is an honour for our city and Ringette PEI to be hosting the National Ringette League," said Mayor Lee. "We hope that everyone will check out the games and show support for this league, the local Ringette organization and these young athletes. Good luck to those involved in the series."
Game times are 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, and 10 a.m. on January 18. Tickets are available at the door and members of Atlantic Attack will be on hand following each game to sign autographs.
