The City of Charlottetown’s Micro-Grant Pitch Party is taking place on Thursday, May 12 at the Murphy’s Community Centre beginning at 6:30 p.m. Organizations and individuals who submitted proposals for the Community Sustainability Micro-Grant Program will each present their idea in five minutes or less at the Pitch Party. All attendees will be given the opportunity to vote and the top-voted proposals will receive grants of up to a maximum of $2,500.
Each attendee will be given five tokens which they can use to vote for up to five different projects. Attendees can only vote once per project and are not required to use all five tokens. Top-voted projects will be announced on Thursday at the conclusion of the event. This is a free, family friendly event and refreshments will be provided.
