The Color Run®, one of the largest 5k event series in the world, will take place in Charlottetown on Saturday, July 2.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. at the Charlottetown Event Grounds located at 360 Grafton Street. The participants will travel on along Water Street, take a right onto Haviland Street, left on Richmond Street to West Street, and left on Kent Street into Victoria Park.
Water Street will be open to one-way traffic, eastbound only, from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. on July 2.
There will be no parking permitted on the following streets from 11 p.m. on July 1 until 11 a.m. on July 2:
• Kent Street from Terry Fox Drive to West Street;
• West Street;
• Richmond Street from West Street to Rochford/Haviland Street;
• Rochford/Haviland Street from Richmond Street to Water Street;
• Water Street from Haviland Street to the Event Grounds.
The public is encouraged to use the parking lot on Terry Fox Drive as well as the City Parkades – Queen, Pownal and Fitzroy – which will be open to the public with no charge.
