The deadline for the Veterans Recognition Award nominations is Friday, October 14. The recipients will be honoured in November during the annual Veterans Recognition Awards Ceremony at the Rodd Charlottetown.
Those eligible for nomination include men and women who served in the Armed Forces of Canada during the Second World War, the Korean War, a Special Duty Area (Peacekeeping), War in Afghanistan or service as a Reservist in Canada. Individuals selected for an award will be notified by mail and presented the award at the private awards ceremony.
Only Charlottetown residents are eligible to be nominated. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 14. Forms can be picked up at the reception desk at City Hall at 199 Queen Street. The form is also available online at: www.charlottetown.ca in the Quick Links menu.
Completed forms must be postmarked on or before October 14 and can be mailed to:
