The City of Charlottetown Heritage Day Celebrations will take place on Tuesday, February 21, at City Hall, 199 Queen Street, at 12 p.m. (noon). All are welcome to attend.
The event will include the City’s Heritage Awards presentation, the launch of an exhibit "National Treasures: Charlottetown’s National Historic Sites", and Dr. Edward MacDonald, UPEI History Department Chairperson, speaking on the significance of National Historic Sites.
After the event, the exhibit will be mounted in the front windows of the Planning and Heritage Department at 233 Queen Street where it will remain until the end of March.
The 11 Charlottetown National Historic Sites will also be featured on the City’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CityofCharlottetown, beginning on February 21.
