The City of Charlottetown is pleased to announce they will once again host Winterfun Weekend to celebrate Islander Day in the Capital City.
The three day Charlottetown Winterfun Weekend will begin on Saturday, February 15 and conclude on Islander Day – Monday, February 17. A variety of free family activities will be offered including: Pancake Breakfast, Puppet Plays, Fire and Police Programs, Bowling, Family Swims, Seniors Ceilidh and Family Skates – and much more.
"We are so pleased to once again offer a variety of free family activities for all to enjoy during Islander Day weekend," said Mayor Clifford Lee. "We had such a positive response from last year’s activities that we once again wanted to offer something fun for Island families."
The full schedule of events is included on the City’s website under the Winter Activities button on the homepage.
"The schedule is packed full with over 13 venues and 25 activities taking place over Islander Day weekend," said Deputy Mayor Stu MacFadyen, chair of the City’s Economic Development and Culture committee. "There truly is something for everyone and we are looking forward to a fantastic weekend."
