The pending storm forecast for Wednesday, March 26th and into Thursday, March 27th has those in charge of emergency services at the City of Charlottetown prepared and ready should their services be required. The City does have an Emergency Plan and it will be put into place, as required, throughout the pending storm system.
All snowplowing services are prepared and will be put into action to keep the streets safe and passable, to allow for emergency situations. The Fire Stations are also prepared and Police services are on duty to handle any emergency situations. Should extended storm conditions interrupt citizen’s primary services, the City will be ready.
Citizens are asked to ensure all vehicles are removed from the streets to allow for snow clearing activities for the duration and following the weather event.
