Free tickets for the Charlottetown Tulip Festival’s Digging Spring seminar will be available beginning May 12, while quantities last.
Digging Spring is a casual educational seminar on the how-to-dos of: general spring bulb planting and maintenance; maintenance of tulips once they are finished blooming in the spring; and tulip bulb planting in the fall.
Heidi Carmichael, a Veseys Seeds Limited Horticulturist, is the speaker. Digging Spring will be held Saturday, May 24 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Beaconfield’s Carriage House at the corner of Kent and West streets. This is a free event, but tickets are required for admission. The tickets will be available beginning on May 12, while quantities last, inside the main entrance of City Hall, 199 Queen Street, from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Digging Spring is presented by the City of Charlottetown and its partners Veseys Bulbs and Beaconsfield Historic House.
