The City of Charlottetown’s Parks and Recreation Department will be offering two Seniors’ Day Trips in June.
The first trip will take place on Wednesday, June 11 to Dalvay by the Sea for a lovely lunch. On the menu will be the soup of the day and lobster with wasabi mayo on soft, ciabatta bread. For those with seafood allergies, a prime rib sandwich will be served on a fresh baked biscuit. Both lunch options will be served with a small spinach salad and Dalvay’s famous Sticky Date Pudding. After lunch, the group will be visiting The Gouda Cheese Lady. The fee for this trip is $32, including lunch and transportation.
On June 25, the day trip will include a visit to North Cape’s Wind and Reef restaurant for lunch. A trip to the Interpretive Centre will follow lunch and the final stop will be at the Antrim Sisters Gift and Flower Shop in Tignish. The fee for this day trip will be $30, including transportation and entrance fees for the Interpretive Centre. Guests on this trip will be responsible for the cost of their lunch.
