The City of Charlottetown and its partners are gearing up for the 1864 Week anniversary celebrations planned for June 10-15. The full schedule is ready for public consumption and jam-packed with events for all ages.
The free six-day festival is the City of Charlottetown’s celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the 1864 Charlottetown Conference of the Fathers of Confederation and the importance it played in the building of Canada.
With fireworks, concerts galore, a special Cultural Market, a pancake breakfast, skateboarding competition, Family Fun Day at Victoria Park, and much more – 1864 Week is sure to have something for everyone.

Pamphlets with the schedule, concert listings, and event-site map for Victoria Park are available for pick up, beginning May 28, at the City’s Tourism Department in City Hall at 199 Queen Street. The pamphlets will also be available at various business locations throughout the City with event posters at the public poster kiosks in downtown Charlottetown.
