The City of Charlottetown will come alive with music and events next week to celebrate the Capital City’s history during 1864 Anniversary Celebrations.

Don’t miss the Concerts in the Park series at Victoria Park as part of 1864 Week. Every evening from Tuesday, June 10 until Sunday, June 15, performers will hit the stage as part of this free event.

The concert series will be one of the many ways the City of Charlottetown will mark the 150th anniversary of the 1864 Charlottetown Conference and the role it played in the building of Canada. The free, six-day will also include the official declaration of Québec Day and a series of other culture, beautification and promotional initiatives from June 10-15, 2014.

Pamphlets with the schedule, concert listings, and event-site map for Victoria Park are available for pick up at the City’s Tourism Department in City Hall at 199 Queen Street. The pamphlets will also be available at various business locations throughout the City with event posters at the public poster kiosks in downtown Charlottetown.
