The City of Charlottetown Parks and Recreation Department operates thirteen outdoor tennis courts at three sites throughout the City: Victoria Park Courts - Park Driveway, Queen Elizabeth Park Courts - Queen Elizabeth Drive, and Frank MacAuly Park Courts - Spring Lane.
The tennis season generally runs from late May to late October (nets will be set up and taken down weather permitting). All courts operate seven days a week on a first-come, first-serve basis (45 minute maximum play if players are waiting).
The Victoria Park Tennis Courts are available seven days a week from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. the cost for playing under the lights is $5.00 for 45 minutes. All courts will be available to the end of October.
Victoria Park Court Rules:
A court fee of $5 will be charged per court for a forty-five minute session.
This fee will be collected beginning with the first 45 minute booking under lights ( If you go on the court at 7:15 and the lights come on at 7:45, you play free under the lights until the end of your 45 min session).
No back to back bookings are permitted.
Lights will be turned off at 10:00 p.m. each night. (Special group functions can be arranged between 9:00 p.m. - midnight time periods).
Please use the court registration board for all court bookings and we ask you to respect the fact that others are waiting to play. Please keep bookings running on time.
T-Shirts MUST be worn at all times.
