The Tourism Department within City Hall consists of a full-time Tourism Coordinator and seasonal staff. The Department is responsible for coordinating and promoting the City of Charlottetown's Tourism, Marketing, and Special Events and liases with all levels of government, City Departments, businesses, and private groups. The department organizes and coordinates various special civic events which the City of Charlottetown is hosting. Promotion of Charlottetown as a tourism destination is accomplished through various promotional literature, guides, kits, and similiar material and is distributed to visitors, tourism bureaus, and Meetings PEI.
